At the time, Peter Forster noted that if it’s truly eggcornish, it doesn’t seem to have much currency. I can’t help but wonder whether this might have been a “cute” eupehmism that the young woman picked up from Polanski or someone else. Looking at the trial transcript doesn’t help answer that question.
