DECISIVELY for decidedly

There are contexts where the word decidedly seems to be called for, but instead the utterer chooses decisively. (This could be a borderline situation between eggcorn and malapropism).

Examples:

Blue Rock’it Records – Home of Ford Brothers Blues BandIt might seem decisively unfair to the majority of the musicians on this planet that so much natural skill, ability, and creative energy should be found in …

Re: DECISIVELY for decidedly

I see a large number of of these switches when I look for “decisively mixed:” http://www.google.com/search?q=%22decisively+mixed%22

The movement also goes in the other direction: http://www.google.com/search?q=decidedly+defeated

Seems like we have two words spelled somewhat alike which have more or less the same meaning (i.e., without doubt or ambiguity). The nuances of the two may differ.
