"Make since" for make sense

Very common malapropism. By all appearances, and by statistical subsampling every 5 pages all the way up to google page 89, “make since” for “make sense” garners more than 100,000 legit ghits.
The only way to make since of it is if it develops in dialects where “pin” and “pen” sound the same.

Political blog:
It just doesn’t make since that a plumber employee makes, for example, $40,000 per year and the owner of the business earns $250,000.

STD info:
It doesn’t make since to me that this sexually transmitted disease can be passed on when a condom is used… There must be some lower risk to people who protect them selves.

Dream interpretation:
White Wolf in dream, dosen’t make since, please help?

Church youth blog:
you can redo the same lyric if you think you have a better one! But it has to make since if it follows another lyric, we don’t have to change all the lyrics if it make since with the parody lyric like this one “Diving from the sky above looking for more and more” it makes since with the parody one.
