Ramen noodles

I sometimes wonder whether the responses of my students to exam questions can be explained by a diet composed largely of Ramen noodles. Ramen are apparently the Japanese equivalent of the original Chinese Lo mein noodles, and they are still amazingly inexpensive, and can be cooked quite easily and quickly, or simply slowly dissolved in the mouth. These are not really eggcorns, or at least I wouldn’t try to make a case for them. They’re just dressed in more familiar (and amusing) raiment.

French take great joy in preparing their food homemade, I want that too. But there’s no replacing Velveeta shells and cheese or remain noodles!

Re: Ramen noodles

Some of them might be the result of a spell-checker.
