"lipsing" for lip synch

This just in from the scion. While no one was looking: “lipsing” for lip synch or lip synching, as in singing with your lips only.

A very good one.
.
For a good many it is “lipsink” (e.g. “the choir lipsank the anthem”.) But I don’t get eggcornish sense out of it: i.e. I don’t see how lip-synching can be that well construed as a kind of sinking.
