I don’t recall having encountered this one before, but lo and behold, “skin” for “skim” is already on this site’s eggcorn list. Anyway, for those who haven’t seen this one before, here’s the example I stumbled upon today: “I have too much to do and have only barely skinned the surface…” (from an email chat-list).

Yeah, except for part of speech—verb in my example, adjective in the examples at the link you provided.
