This example is a little weird b/c the word “isolated” is actually used later in the same sentence!

The same word spelled correctly elsewhere in the text might be a tipoff that some sort of WTF short circuit has resulted in a typing misfire. In this case, it looks like the in syllable that starts incident has hopped back to infect the adjective. As evidence of this mechanism, we should also find “insolated incidents”, without any solar involvement.
