I heard this one the other day from a guy who doesn’t read or write very well. He was explaining to me the kind of girls he liked, and one of the qualities was ‘Bambi-legged’ – ‘you know, thin legs where there’s a gap in the middle, like Bambi’
I’m guessing he meant bandy-legged, but his version sounded much more appealing!
Although perhaps Bambi-legged is slightly different. It certainly seems to be used widely and by authoritative figures:

Interesting Bambi fantasy. This one will be difficult to straighten out. First, I went looking for the Mr. Impossible chair, of course. It’s true that it is Bambi-legged, from the ice skating scene, I think, or from the spread-legged position that young animals take. I don’t that’s a confusion with bandy-legged, which implies bowlegged. On the other hand, I think your friend has made a cute eggcorn since it appears that he did appeal to bowleggedness, or vice versa. Again, difficult to compare here because the “thigh” of deer corresponds to our shin; they walk en pointe like ballerinas.
