Re: "fatigue and malice" for fatigue and malaise

Maybe the fatigue is making the patient violent (or at least angry).

“Malice” for “malaise” is common. The Google hits for economic malice provide several examples. The two words seem to be flounders.

Re: "fatigue and malice" for fatigue and malaise

Here’s an alternative take that looks eggcornish: economic melees, that are breaking out all over.

NZ
now we’re being asked to fund whatever increases they get in addition to dealing with our own economic melees.

Nigeria
Media should shove aside any pecuniary gains but help correct the socio-economic melees facing the common man

Australia
Despite, rather than because of, the unfolding world economic melees, all our suppliers, factories and staff pulled together to help see us through the multiple challenges we faced.

Wisconsin trust fund
Candidly, even we didn’t foresee the level of difficulty, nor the extent of the economic melees that ensued in the last six months of calendar 2008.

Iraq Investor forum
Also as far as our current economic melees. Please point out to us one thing that Bush did to ruin the economy.
