I’m new to the forum, so I’m not sure that this is an appropriate way to post, but I would just mention that I have heard “someone” speak of the “medium” when referring to the median on the highway.
He also lets his coffee “seep” for a while, rather than “steep”.
My favorite:
He gets his tires “bounced”, rather than balanced.
