Another variation of an old eggcorn

“I even understand that we live in a cheatin’, lying, doggie/dog world…..” (from a post on an online chat-list).

Replacing “dog eat dog” with something like “doggy-dog” has been on the Eggcorn Database list for awhile. I don’t recall having seen it punctuated like this before. In any case, it might be amusing for those who haven’t seen this one yet.
