"forciferous" for vociferous

To vociferate is to make your voice carry, or to carry on loudly. Forciferous speech makes the forcefulness explicit.

I think we’ve all heard as much as we want to hear about the Cordoba center, where it will be sited (near the twin towers site in New York) and the forciferous opposition from figures on the American left and right.

I do not believe that forum posts and journals should have an edit facility. It is a form of cheating, a modifying of history. A prominent member of UKA (who is most forciferous in his defence of * his * community) not only writes under another name but has conversations with himself about his work.

Cited on a couple of sites as a Bushism. See http://nice-han.xanga.com/139293432/item/

Not common, but definitely a member of the species Eggcornicus deliciosus.

Hatching new language, one eggcorn at a time.
