Might be a case of fingers trippling over the l when hitting the pl. See for instance Emplire State Building. Dumplings should not be maligned like that. The only time I’ve eaten dumplings, they were fist-sized dough balls on a stew made by a rosy-cheeked dumplingesque woman. Eat, you’re so skinny.
