rh, if this is an eggcorn, do you have a sense of what the perps were imagining? The associations I have for ‘rosa’ would be roses, the colour pink, rosy, Ms. Parks, and maybe the confidentiality of sub rosa. It might be a blend with the latter. Or maybe he started out or came out smelling like roses?
