A timely eggcorn

I ran across the following usage.

The formulation process is tedious and timely.

I think they meant “time-consuming”. So I’m putting this one before the assembled wisdom of Eggcornistan. Interesting eggcorn or goofy solecism? Or some nice combination of the two maybe.

Re: A timely eggcorn

I see that thousands of people like the sound of “tiredsome”. Also too close to the original to be a fully hatched eggcorn, but pretty nevertheless. Is there a name hereabouts for these?

On the plain in Spain where it mainly rains.

Awedsome. I like the idea that a tiredsome task is one that makes me some tired. But it’s probably the result of a cuddledsome d. Otherwise one would have liked to find irkedsome, which is not out there, and not gruedsome, which is.
