I ran into this one the other day: “His gamma ray enhanced body is resistant to penetration wounds of any sort up to a high caliper bullet.”
Most of the Google examples of “high caliper” were from an agricultural business called “High Caliper Growing”. Others were references to things that use calipers such as bicycles, brakes and paper (apparently “high caliper paper” is paper the thickness of which is very uniform). But there were a few clear substitutions of “caliper” for “caliber”:

It seems like a simple substitution to me rather than an eggcorn, as any meaning connection there might be in some examples would be attributable to the close etymological relationship between “caliper” and “caliber”. I also googled “the calibers” to get some examples going in the other direction:

Glad someone finally wrote up caliper/caliber (http://eggcorns.lascribe.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=390). A credible eggcorn—“high caliper” is a meaningful semantic replacement for “high caliber” because it can refer to a high number on a caliper reading and calipers are sometimes used to measure bullets whose size is expressed as a caliber. According to the OED, in fact, “caliper/calliper is ”[a]pparently the same word as calibre n.; calliper compasses being compasses for measuring the calibre of a bullet….”
