"stockiometry" for stoichiometry

I’ve been quietly itching to post this one for a while but wanted to avoid boring readers to eyes welded shut. The dead of winter seems apt, though.

As you all surely remember clearly from high school chemistry, stoichiometry (the spell checker on this site suggests “psychometric”) is the quantitative relation among elements in the chemistry of compounds. Wikipedia says it’s derived from the Greek words στοιχεῖον (stoicheion, meaning element]) and μέτρον (metron, meaning measure.) Nicephorus, the despot of Epirus, no, eunuch chief minister of Michael VII, wait, excuse me, it must have been the Byzantine patriarch Nicephoros I of Constantinople, the word Stoichiometria referred to the number of line counts of the canonical New Testament and some of the Apocrypha. Stockiometry makes clearer that stoichiometry takes stock of the stock of elements in a compound.

Chemical Physics Letters The full line is a non-linear fit of the experimental assuming 1:1 stockiometry.

Research proposal Coatings to be examined by Rutherford backscattering for stockiometry will be deposited on pyrolitic graphite to allow low background in the spectra.

Metal plating shop, UK 8. How do you measure thickness of plating?
... mean loading of platinum which is calculated by stockiometric method and also can be established by X-Ray Diffraction. [...] The plating thickness is measured by using a well established Stockiometric Method. [...] carried out in TiTaN every quarter on random sample to reconfirm regularly the stockiometric method adopted.
