I review advertising for a national coop program to make sure it follows the advertising guidelines. This one gave me a chuckle. There’s a graphic of a deer jumping out in front of a car and the headline, “Don’t be blindsighted! Be Prepared.” I had never come across “blindsighted” before. It’s understandable, though, given how similar “sight” and “side” sound.
