This is a bizarre one. In a discussion regarding the use of the word “ro$es” in Craigslist prostitution ads:
No, it’s a code word for money, because it replaces the letter s with a doll hair sign.
I guess the thin little line and squiggle could look like doll’s hair. Maybe this is a non-native English speaker?

Now there’s a newer reply showing this is probably just an obscure reference to a joke from a 2010 episode of 30 Rock. Whatever. I enjoyed thinking there was one man going through life thinking it was a doll hair sign because it looks like two doll hairs.
