Stereotypes and preconceptions are so confining. Most of the hits seem to recognize the origin of typecasting in theatre, but some may be imagining other kinds of casting.

I can concisely separate actors from their roles with no problem. That’s why I get aggravated when someone says, “OH they could never do that kind of role, it’s so not them!” I do get that, some times actors just don’t fit the role, but I hate tightcasting with a fiery passion.
