Raise and Race

I see we’ve had “race a ruckus” but I thought this was a neat reshaping too:

you’re a non-white dad raising mixed raise kids

(which I saw today, in the ghastly “Daily Mail”)

What eyeshadow colours suits mixed raise skin?

I say this as a mixed raise woman.

Living in New York city with a Mixed raise background gave him a new perspective on things

Re: Raise and Race

I can’t think of an eggcornish meaning connection offhand, but it’s a fun substitution.

Re: Raise and Race

I don’t see raising as having anything to do with race.

Re: Raise and Race

The issue did not arise for me, J23. Grade A in my books. Just when I thought the stream was dried up, this spate of great eggcorns appears.
