This is one of those new-to-me eggcorns that I found in the wild and then discovered had already been discussed here in the Eggcorn Forum (though, like many worthy eggcorns, not yet added to the official list). FWIW, here’s the example I found:
Planet Waves played two shows in April with Jacob Harris sitting behind the kit, and doing a quite admiral job.
