In again! I thought this might have been mentioned already, but apparently not. Works quite well I think, with the insignificance of pipsqeak matched by the memory of the squeal that’s left when all else has been consumed.
“Hey, you little pigsqueak! Leave him alone. You don’t even know what he had lived through!” Akira shouted angry, not thinking about the ..
I like TNA’s Eric Young character. He’s just a little pigsqueak who takes all the abuse.
Yes, that little pigsqueak is off the year even I don’t listen to that rubbish station.

Another really good one, Peter. Funnier in its way than collectic , but it changes the meaning for me enough that I would need to keep both pigsqueak and pipsqueak . (I live too near pigs to think that a squeak from them, as opposed to a grunt, is likely to be negligible—more likely deafening. They can’t seem to squeak without squealing.)

I suppose off the year was < “off the air”? Wonder if that’s standard for anybody?

Pipsqueak. An intriguing twentieth century word. Phrasedicks (William Safire’s neologism) have worked on it, but without much success.
Hatching new language, one eggcorn at a time.
