Not terribly common. Most cases of “negative ventâ€, for instance, refer to negative vent pressure in a ducting system, or to a rant expressing (venting) negative emotions rather than a predisposition or attitude [e.g. a blog post title: “Not a negative vent … more of an ‘I accept this’ rant.’â€]. Also of course susceptical of being simple misspellings or even typos (v next to b on the qwertyboard.)
.
But maybe in a few cases eggcornish in some degree (a bent towards or especially away from something may tend to express itself in a positive or negative rant on the subject.)

Elizabeth could not prevent her thoughts from their negative vent.
Who knew Mr. Sarcastic had a holy streak. Noting he did a DC Talk song last night gave me a hint, but yahoo today made it clear… Sligh’s a fucking fundie. […] what’s Bob Jones Univ… a christian college? Are you saying our boy Sligh has a vent towards christian rock?

Hmmm. “B” and “V” are neighboring, non-home, left-hand keys on a QWERTY keyboard. Easy mistake. Check out all the cases of “vedtime” for an obvious silicism.
Hatching new language, one eggcorn at a time.
