parker = parka

A natural for non-rhotic dialects (lots of UK hits), but works pretty well pronunciation-wise even for the rhotic ones.

JEAN BOURGET fur lined parker navy

Find fur lined parker at ShopStyle UK. Shop the latest collection of fur lined parker from the most popular stores – all in one place.

Before Craig tried to show me how it would fit, I turned the phone off and put it in my warm parker pocket.

Gap Kids goose down filled parker, dark grey with removable synthetic fur lined hood. Drawstring waist tie and elastic wrist ends.

(And many other citations out there.)
.
It’s striking how many commercial sites use this spelling, and pictures like the referenced one make it clear what is being named.
.
Might be a classic Lehmann’s term for some perps (they might assume somebody named Parker first made or marketed them, like a Spencer, perhaps) or might be taken as one of the -er ‘clothing’ terms (sweater, jumper, pedal-pusher, windbreaker, sneakers), and maybe the idea was that one might wear it in an outdoor location such as a park on a cold winter’s day or night. In either case, it’s eggcornish in some degree.

*If the human mind were simple enough for us to understand,
we would be too simple-minded to understand it* .

(Possible Corollary: it is, and we are .)
