unsure if it’s a typo, a joke, or complete stupidity.

Some of the “grab<<crab” examples on the web are puns. Most of the ones from scanned texts (Google books, for example) are probably silicisms—a G and a C can look a lot alike. What is left does not rise far above the static of typos and misspellings. Who knows, though? It’s an attractive switch.

We’re victims of our own success here, Kem. We have tasted and tested most of the large eggcornical signals out there. Reading semantics into the static has been enough for me for years. It is estimated that every human being bears about 175 individual base pair substitutions in their DNA (SNPs, or single nucleotide polymorphisms), relative to their parents, out of the 3 billion bases in our genome. Mutational static that doesn’t have much, if any, importance to us, but could eventually lead to the species that will take our place. So static is just a question of scale.
You could say I’m just working on the millennial scale.

She will lick food off of my hand/fingers; however she crabs sometimes when I touch her pouch. I have not held her yet. I take her out and play with her in the bathroom and she had never crabbed out me. She usually jumps back when I out my hand really close to her. When she is in her pouch or cage she has sometimes lunged at me and crabs a lot.
