For those who feel that we’re in the post-literate age, this rap based on actual Internet posts is well worth viewing, and only partly because there are some eggcorns mixed in (though you may have to pause the video to detect them).

The eggcornical slip that caught my eye in this long list was “dietbetes.†We haven’t had this one before, though DavidB did call attention to “dire-beties†in 2010. A high-frequency error in unedited prose.
