Combind for combine

Use of “combind” in place of present tense “combine”, as in recipe instructions -”Combind eggs and sugar.” I feel this is an eggcorn as “bind” reiterates “combine”.

Good ’un.
Got more examples for us? Did you see this written, or hear it spoken?

Re: Combind for combine

Plenty of ghits for “combind harvester”.

But this was a disappointment, with only one that I could find:

When I was a bairn I used to think the large farm machine for harvesting and threshing wheat was called a Corn Bind Harvester

Bear in mind that the word corn has a longer history than its meaning of maize/Indian corn/sweetcorn. In my distant UK youth we used the word to mean wheat, mostly.

On the plain in Spain where it mainly rains.

Re: Combind for combine

Conjugation of combind to the past tense, combound, supports its eggcornhood. I get the impression that combound may be a strange self-referential blend with compound.

This is simple water manipulation that when combound with fire it creates Mist, and when combound with wind it makes Ice. Thunder will negate it.

I believe a good presentation can be fully effective when combound with a good method.

But trying to blame it on other people (more so when combound with a reluctance to cover costs) is what creates profound disappointment.

Recently,I bought a 1TB External hard drive only for my PS4 and when I connected it to the system,I realised I cant use it to be combound with the internal system drive.

Then that combound with slowing enemy/ using rewind speeding your self up and bomb/rewind you will slaughter even the strongest of foes

Kayle has a way to survive the initial burst, her ulti and her speed boost combound with her q slow and her active slows.

Re: Combind for combine

My seven year old just used this, actually the past participle, but in a rear dual eggcorn sentence
She suggested a good quarantine activity was to draw your favorite animal and your favorite cartoon char-actor combinded.
