There are a number of examples of the “links†version of this expression attested in google (see below). I myself produced this while writing my thesis but was fortunate enough to catch it before the final submission.
Examples:
“Other nice touches include online flashcards with a printable version, practice quizzes, links, and exhaustively researched lists of historically influential publications. The author also goes to great links to make the site accessible to visually impaired readers. The only thing missing is a search feature or index.” (http://textbookrevolution.org/general/p … -tutorials)
“Plus, Bush went to great links in his attempt to get the UN on board and was successful in getting yet another resolution passed.” (http://kevinholtsberry.com/blog/archives/003321.html)
“Some students went to great links to be very accurate. Students in a science class must create a notebook that contains several different types of leaves (that they must label) that they gather from a field trip.” (http://lrs.ed.uiuc.edu/students/dlosche … ection.htm)
“You’ll find lots of pictures on this site, and news about future sales. Kelly’s is a LICENSED AUCTION COMPANY with the State of Georgia #2522. “lengths » links†has already been added to the eggcorn database, but all the examples are of “car links†as in “2 car links aheadâ€

I think “go to great links†is different enough, and frequent enough, to deserve its own entry, or if not that, at least to have some examples added to the existing entry.
