One said there was too much action, one had the galls to say not enough action.
This was such a welcome change compared to my previous move, where the mover had the galls to ask me for $2000 extra in fees because they completed the work 5 hours late!!
Jacob even had the galls to call him prettier than me…ohh, how rude!
Roommate, who doesn’t wash his dishes, had the galls to say this
comic strip title
Apparently a blend of “gall” and “balls”. Probably not pronounced similarly enough to be in eggcorn territory.
We’ve had the odd bilabial-velar substitution before. One trip pony. Harp back. Though these substitutions were not in initial positions. And they were also followed by a bilabial that could draw the velar to it.
Anyway, one of the best blends we’ve seen.
Hatching new language, one eggcorn at a time.
