Our boss used to say ” we need to “flush [ie, “flesh”] that one out.” It made some of us giggle, because that’s what we would have done with the idea if we could have.

The recommended procedure here is to go to the Eggcorn Database (not the Eggcorn Forum) main page and search with the second search mechanism there (the Google search). If you find no relevant hits (in this case searching on things like flush or flesh out ) that way, you might have something new. If you find someone else has already run into the eggcorn you found, you can add your contribution to the bottom of that post’s string of comments.
