Nationalised/Naturalised

Is this an eggcorn? “Charles Alexander De Selincourt (M) b. between 4 April 1835 and 31 December 1835 at Paris, France; nationalised British subject, d. between 1 October 1900 and 31 December 1900”. From <http://cheshirealan.infinology.net/My%20Family/index.htm>.

Re: Nationalised/Naturalised

One can make a strong case favoring eggcorn status. An unfamiliar term (naturalized) gets morphed—unintentionally—to a new term which sounds somewhat similar and makes reasonable contextual sense (nationalized). Nice find.
