'weak at the needs' for 'weak at the knees'

Curious, this, for I’m not at all sure what the needs might be. Could it be the need to hold one’s water for instance, as it is well-attested that fear or excitement or excessive hilarity can lead to some degree of involuntary urination? Bagpipes too, according to Shakespeare. Curious.

Well I don’t think Virgo’s make just anyone go weak at the needs, its takes strong character to love a Virgo (I know I am one!) but when someone …

“As long as you wear this necklace you’ll always be my little flower” the powerful tone of his voice nearly had me weak at the needs.

... a great family roller coaster and Bounce, a launched drop tower which would make most thrill seekers weak at the needs.

We have had so much going on so let me catch you up! We are need deep into a new house out in the country.

...I pray that Sisi and the government will keep an open heart to the voices of farmers and those who are need deep in mud and loving it!
news from Egypt

“Need deep ” for “knee deep” makes sense as an eggcorn, because when we’re “knee deep” in whatever, we’re probably in need of something—usually a respite from whatever we’re knee deep in, or some way to deal with it.

Re: 'weak at the needs' for 'weak at the knees'

Riffing about in search of simblings often reveals much better quality gems – need deep works far better than weak at the needs, for example. Further furtling, however, does seem to indicate that either some people actually believe that their lower-limb elbow-equivalents are really called ‘needs’ or something else is afoot. What can we make of these, for instance?

God I feel like crawling on my hands and needs back to the hospital and cuffing myself to a bed till they give me morphine!

and

Then quickly explode up and jump in the air. Land with softly with slightly bended needs.
