Aided and Embedded for Aided and Abetted

Saw it in a tweet about Trump saying he was “aided and embedded” by the Russians. In this case, the mistake actually works very well for the writer’s intent! The person has since corrected their tweet so it seems they either caught their mistake or someone pointed it out to them.

We’ve had a number of replacements for “aided and abetted” proposed here. The strangeness of “abet” to modern ears seems to attract alternatives. “Aided and embedded” has not been proposed, though. I like it.
