I suppose you have all heard of the latest Trump tweet error. Within hours Snopes had to verify it: http://www.snopes.com/trump-sends-unpresidented-tweet/
We have actually seen “unpresidented” for “unprecidented” here before, in this post, though the mention was short and not discussed. And “president” for “precedent” is in the Database.
I’m inclined to think it is an eggcorn. There were plenty of examples before the Trump tweet polluted the data sources. The authority of “president” could draw in the implied authority of “precedent.”
