It’s rare enough that it’s possible this is simply a common mistyping, especially as most of these are casual internet text. Only the first work is published by a legit publisher.

I guess that makes me a ex-patriot stumble jumper, stumbling while jumping across the prairie stubble.
I am a stumble jumper who lived in God’s country for 7 years, and regretted moving ever since.

I for one would rather see those whales from an ocean liner! I guess my stumble jumper legs would be out of their element surrounded by those man eaters.

It was a typically chilly winter night, but Mr. W. Brett Wilson (BE ’79) received a warm welcome as the 2008 Distinguished Lecturer at the C.J. Mackenzie Gala of Engineering Excellence on January 17, 2008. His topic, Partners, Prairie Ethics and Priorities – One Stumble Jumper’s Journey, was both entertaining and informative.

(although this one is easily an anticipation error). Stumble for 5-o’clock stubble may have some jumble in the mix? See also stumple.

Does anyone see a plausible meaning connection between stubble and stumble? If not, we can’t call it an eggcorn. Maybe it’s just a typo as Grant suggests, although I could imagine someone actually pronouncing it “stumble”, which would make it a malaprop, I reckon.
