Members of the Eggcorn Forum might like to know that I have put together a book on eggcorns. I issued it through Amazon as a print paperback and ebook. You can read about the book, Bone Constrictors and Witchy Boards, on my web site.: The narrative in the book reflects several of our Forum discussions and mentions a number of our regular and irregular contributors. Some of the Forum stalwarts, in fact, provided specific help with editing and proofreading.
The body of the book contains discussions of over 600 eggcorns. I select the “100 best,†but this is a personal take. Many of you will have ones that you like better than my choices.
The problem with publication through Amazon and other self-publication channels, of course, is that authors are cut off from the main channels of publicity. If any contributors have ways of spreading the news about this book to other forums, online venues, and print sources, thank you in advance for the boost.
The print book, by the way, is only orderable on the U. S. Amazon.com site right now. It should propagate to the other Amazons (Canada, U.K., etc) in the next couple of weeks.

Great, kem! I’ve always dug your stuff and I’ll be ordering one of these.

I can’t wait to get my hands on this! Looks contentious. One hundred best, you say. I may have to demure if it doesn’t include dire bollockal.
