'ingulp' for 'engulf'

If to engulf is to sweep over, cover completely, or swallow up, to ingulp, were it a word, might mean much the same.

After seeing that he was losing, he was ingulped in rage.

Every day I walk and look around at the hundreds, literally, hundreds of people that rather look at their phones and seem in gulped in that than have to look at another human and interact.

Started spraying propane like a flame thrower took minutes house ingulped in flames and took out house next door.

The tree literally split in half, with one half completely ingulping the neighbors driveways, smashing the hood and windshield of one vehicle, and smashing the ...

The movie is surreal the setting and atmosphere ingulps you bringing you into the world of Star Trek.
