caffeinated tanagers

It has five pleasing cabins with private bathroom, ideal for housing up to 14 people, along with an open restaurant where you will enjoy watching hummingbirds zooming in and out of feeders, and chachalacas and tanagers feeding at fruit while sipping a coffee, or simply relax reading some of our reference books while coatis roam around the area.

Apologies for this impertinent post. I found it funny.

Re: caffeinated tanagers

It is fun. I didn’t realize the name chachalaca had made it down to Ecuador. It is Nahuatl in origin, and we have them in our part of Mexico (mountains of Veracruz.) Noisy critters.
.
(Chāchalaka is an onomatopoeic term, part of a whole series of verbs that have stem-ni for doing it once and reduplication-stem-ka for doing it a lot of little times. Chachalaka might be glossed as ‘chatter, clatter, make a harsh repetitive metallic non-ringing sound’, where chalāni means ‘clash, smash, make a loud metallic harsh/non-ringing sound.’ Cf. tzilīni ‘ring (e.g. a gong or church bell)’, tzitzilika ‘ring, trill (e.g. a doorbell, old-fashioned telephone, alarm clock)’. tmi, no doubt, but anyway, I have always thought they were fun.)
.
Re underage ingestion of caffeine:

over 300 species of animal species. The place is not restricted to animals but also beautiful wooded birds like woodpeckers, scarlet teenagers etc

we decided that we wanted to re-forests with native trees and shrubs yes they had some benefits to pollinators but adjacent to the ones they had a much bigger ecological value as increased tourist buffer and it was that data that we had on , say , the fact that their Scarlet teenagers here during the breeding season that we saw during the Bio that helped us make those decisions .

Nice photos of the scarlet tanager. When she was small and going along on birding trips with us, my daughter called them scarlet teenagers. Time flies.

More a read-o / spellchecker kind of error than an eggcorn, but entertaining as well. Pun fodder, of course.

When dangling, don’t use participles.

Hatching new language, one eggcorn at a time.
