conentrated effort

Would “concentrated effort” (for concerted effort) consitute a malaprop, not an eggcorn?

Re: conentrated effort

I harvested another eggcorn for “concerted effort” this weekend. At a party someone said “a consorted effort to….” If you can believe the numbers, there are many thousands of examples of “consorted effort” on the web.

If you act in concert with a bunch of people, I guess you have to consort with them.

Hatching new language, one eggcorn at a time.
