murders operandi

Modus operandi, often shortened to m.o. or MO, is used frequently in crime fiction and elsewhere to describe the mode of operation, the tell-tale signature of some murderous miscreant. Modus, it seems, could be eggcornishly misheard as murders.

a mystery locked room that has a murder victim found inside an apparently enclosed space with challenges of detective to discover the murders operandi.

The murders operandi has a strong parallel with Sunanda Pushkar’s death in her hotel room under mysterious circumstances.
