Not an eggcorn, but an interesting controcorn perhaps. An astringent draws tissues together after all.
After Jeff almost died, Blake did everything in his power to find out the reason for Jeff’s condition. Being astringed from his mother, Adam went to Blake and told him Alexis was behind what happened to Jeff.

Her father had only been home for two days and he’d been acting totally astringed from his family but was friendly with his parents and his sister, Queen Kiara.

And, at any given time, there are other key players at the Not Before Noon residence. However, each individual quality is fused within the music. Each personality so astringed from the next. Yet, all are so prevalent and provocative an image for this band.

But it might have some eggcornish pretensions David, if astringency suggests an unwelcome sourness and estrangement involves some degree of animosity and bitterness?
Things could be worse though:
How about if I’ve been estrangled from a family member over the way they acted to my parents and the hurtful things they did to them.
Unfortunately over the last four years of her life we were estrangled and her choices left her alone and penniless.
The father was estrangled from the family, she didn’t share the same father with her sisters.
(Incidentally, have you any idea what lies behind the welcome but sudden increase in traffic on the site? Normally single digits, we’ve been reaching into the 100s in recent weeks!)

It’s having David back. I always enjoy your posts, Tocayo. (Peter too, of course, and Kem.)
