Someone stop me if “large sound” is legitimate… it just strikes me as a little peculiar—and perhaps I’m missing the distinction from “loud sound” (if there is one). I’m reminded of cartoons where LOUD sounds are conveyed with LARGE letters. An eggcorn inspired by the funnies perhaps?
