Villigant and Engulped

I heard someone say ‘villigant’ in place of vigilant. Makes sense if you’re looking out for the village.

During a fire safety seminar I was told that I would be ‘engulped in flames’ up to my waist if I didn’t dispose of the chemicals properly.

Should these get to go in the database?

I do like ‘engulped’ for ‘engulfed’, especially as the latter can mean ‘to be swallowed up’. ‘Engulped’ gets 1,080 googlehits including:

It looks pretty eggcornish to me but as for it going in the database, there’s a pretty hefty waiting list… it seems that at one time entry to the database was not particularly rigorous; now it rarely seems to happen at all, but perhaps that is preferable to devaluing the lot by including the highly dubious?
