I found a recipe for “Tuna Tar Tar” on allrecipes.com, and a few hits on Google, including a restaurant menu. I imagine the writer thought that “tar tar” is a Chinese pairing, like “dim sum”?
A question (probably already asked and answered): Can you limit Google to exactly what you’ve typed—in other words, prevent it from correcting “Tar Tar” to “Tartar” and mixing the results indiscriminately?
Thanks.

Put “beef tar tar” in quotations (like that) in the google window and you’ll eliminate all the “tartar” responses. You won’t eliminate the “tar-tar” responses—google’s default seems to see a space and a hyphen as interchangeable, and I wish I knew what to do about that — but the great majority will be what you’re looking for.
