I’m just now watching ‘The Simpson’s.’ They’ve gone to the state fair and Homer is trapped in a giant maze built from corn plants, called the ‘corn maize.’ This gets some Google hits, all intentional.
Not an eggcorn, but those Simpson writers are too smart for me.
