This one came from my old friend, the Ozarks lady. Seems there was a rumor of an unwanted pregnancy circulating in her neighborhood. She reported to us that the rumor was spreading like wild flowers. I associate wildfires with the prairies (grass fires) and with the type of fires they have in mountainous areas (from Santa Ana winds, in large evergreen forests, etc.). Granted, there are grasses and forests in the Ozarks, but wild flowers are just as dominant. And wild flowers do spread quickly, mostly from wind-blown seeds. Do we have an egg corn here?
