OK, I saw this one today in a meeting. We have something at work called the “textbook and tuition” fund, for employees to fund their ongoing work-related training. I saw it referred to on a meeting agenda as “textbook intuition”.
Has this one been covered yet? :)

Welcome to the Eggcorn website NLGuy. For “textbook intuition” to be an eggcorn, the agenda writer would have to literally have meant “intuition.” If I had to take my best guess of the situation, I’d say that perhaps a secretary was taking dictation at the time the agenda was typed up and simply got the words wrong. Is that a possibility? If not, we could focus on the imagery of “intuition” and see what we can tease out.
