Examples:
Instead, we have to live with sub-part anti-aliasing all the time. ( http://www.betalogue.com/2007/11/22/sve … s-menu-bar )
And it’s just irritating to see very sub-part illustrations on a game that i’ve been waiting years too see ( http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/phpBB … 7f19#49484 )
and they are, in my opinion, very sub-part in regards to people’s actions and [...] pacing ( http://magixclub.com/forums/lofiversion … t1152.html )
All the other sports are considered sub-part. ( http://forums.livingwithstyle.com/archi … 32709.html )
Finding additional occurences is made hard by the fact that “subpart” is a word (sometimes written “sub-part”) and “sub part” maches very popular split subtitles for films. I’ve also seen “Sub-Part-Per-Million”, “is-sub-part relations”, “of any X or subpart”.
I would connect the eggcorn to “substandard part” (with the same “sub” prefix as in “sub-prime”) or “replacement part” (with the same meaning as in “sub teacher”).
