I’m not sure that this is technically an eggcorn—I can’t see that the writers are associating a new set of images with the “use full” spelling. Also, this kind of separation in the spelling of “ful” words is really common—“hand full,” “care full,” “harm full,” “hope full” all get 1000s of hits.
